Introducing Misha
I hope you are all off to a good start this year. So far so good for us. One big change in our house is the addition of our new inspector Misha. Here she is at eleven weeks old.
It has been a year since we lost Coco and it took that long to recover to the point where we could bring someone new into the house. I still can’t bring myself to take Coco’s picture off of our about page, though I guess I’ll do it someday.
Dogs are part of our families and have a strangely strong emotional effect on those who live with them. I’m not sure why this is but suspect it’s due in part to some kind of compensation for the disappointments we experience in other areas of live. I also think it’s been that way for a long time.
Of course, Misha doesn’t know any of that. She is a three-month-old mini Australian shepherd, is full of energy and fun. She spends the day eating, running and harassing Sadie. She’ll be showing up periodically in our social media in between pictures of glass and places we’ve been.
Take care until next time!
